ZarzaminThe mission of the PO "Zarzamin" is to promote the sustainable development of rural areas in Tajikistan through agroecological practices, the preservation of terraced farming, and support for horticultural farms.
We work with local communities to help implement environmentally friendly methods for growing apricots, walnuts, and other crops.
The organization was founded by a group of agricultural and environmental specialists who joined forces to preserve traditional farming practices in the Pamir mountains and adapt them to the modern challenges of climate change.
We cooperate with the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, local governments, and international donor organizations.
